SLAs are focused on ensuring your AV System is always ready for that important meeting, training or event. This high reliability is achieved with preventive maintenance plans that include periodic site visits by service technicians, phone support and event remote monitoring. Each SLA also includes provisions for corrective maintenance and warranty support.

Anatomy of an SLA

An audiovisual service level agreement includes an initial system evaluation and adjustment, preventive maintenance schedule and corrective maintenance process.

System Inventory, Evaluation and Adjustment – An initial site visit by qualified service technicians to bring the current system to an operational state and assess the overall health of the equipment. Additionally, the system will be mapped and inventoried as they clean and inspect each piece of equipment.

Preventive Maintenance – We will work with you to determine how often the system requires preventive maintenance visits. This schedule is based on the complexity of the system, operational environment and the impact of the room not being available. During the visit service technicians clean and inspect equipment, update firmware, verify operation and make any needed adjustments, leaving you with a System Optimization Report showing results of the visit. Proper and frequent Preventive Maintenance visits are the foundation of system operational readiness.

In addition to on site preventive maintenance, there are several tools available that can be used to monitor and maintain AV systems remotely. This can be a valuable system enhancement to add additional reliability and better support the end users.

Corrective Maintenance Process – A solid preventive maintenance program will certainly reduce the need for corrective maintenance, but complex systems can still be affected by unexpected equipment and software problems. For these possible cases, we have a variety of corrective maintenance plans that can be adjusted to your operational needs. Any SLA providing a preventive maintenance plan includes phone support and a discounted rate schedule for service technicians when needed.
